There is no right or wrong answer to this question since there are no conventions that define the size of a monument. Larger monuments usually come at a greater premium. It also depends on whether the monument is for an individual or for two people. Moreover, the amount of information and design you want on the monument will play an important role. Also, consider cemetery rules when deciding on the size of your monument as some cemeteries limit the size of the monuments placed within different sections of the cemetery.

 

What Affects The Price Of The Monument?

The factors that affect the price of a monument include:

 

• Size – a larger and thicker monument will cost more
• Color – some colors cost more than others
• Polishing – some granite monuments only have one side polished, like a flat marker, but others have up to five sides polished. The more you polish a monument, the more it will cost.
• Shape – a monument with complicated shapes will cost more
• Accessories – adding accessories like vases, pictures, or matching bases adds to the cost.

 

How And When Do I Pay?

We accept all major forms of payment including cash, check, debit, and credit (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express).  We offer a half and half payment procedure.  Once half the project total is put down, we will process, produce, and install the gravestone.  The balance is due before the gravestone is installed.

 

How Long Does It Take To Have The Memorial Made And Installed?

The average time for producing your grave stone is 3 to 6 months from the date of your order. There are a few factors that can delay the production time of your headstone or monument. While there is a large inventory on hand, it is nearly impossible to stock every size and color due to the different regulations of each cemetery.  In some cases we will need to place a custom order for your head stone or monument. The average time for a custom order is approximately 6 to 12 months. We know that your loved ones headstone is important to you and your family so we do everything possible to make your stone as quickly as possible.  Our goal is produce a beautiful and meaningful memorial for you to cherish for years to come.

Should the monument be defective in any way, or should the lettering or design be different than the description on the signed contract, it will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the purchaser.

Do You Install The Monuments That You Sell?

Yes we do? Some cemeteries charge an "outside install fee", which means that they will inspect the install once it's done to make sure it is correct.

 

What Type Of Foundation Do We Use?

We install each monument on a concrete foundation to help eliminate the serious problem evident in every cemetery: leaning or tilting. We take our time and build a strong deep base so we have fewer problems with leaning and tilting.

 

Do We Offer Professional Cleaning Services For Monuments?

Yes, with the weather and mold buildup that can occur, we also have a cleaning service available to keep the monument looking beautiful.
